"This Sort Of Micro Racism...": Shruti Haasan Schools Fan Asking Her To Speak In South Indian Accent
Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan, called out a fan for "micro racism" when asked to speak with a South Indian accent.

Actress and singer Shruti Haasan, who is the daughter of Kamal Haasan, recently conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram, and it was during this session, that she schooled one fan for showing "micro racism" towards her. She also asked the fan not to "be funny" in this matter. It all started with a Shruti Haasan follower asking the actress to "say something in South Indian accent." Given Shruti Haasan is a Tamilian, the actress on Instagram Stories wrote, "Ok… So This sort of micro racism is not ok And it’s not ok when you look at us and say idli dosa sambar either. And no you don’t imitate us well so don’t try and be funny."
