Actress Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan, has finally opened up on her relationship status amid speculation about her breakup with boyfriend Santanu Hazarika. In the latest entertainment news, Shruti Haasan took to her Instagram Stories to answer a fan's question who asked her about whether she is single or committed. Answering the question through a selfie video, Shruti Haasan said, "I don’t like answering these questions but I am entirely single, unwilling to mingle, only working and enjoying my life. Enough!"

Earlier this year, Hindustan Times reported that Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika have indeed broken up.

"They broke up last month. Since there were personal wavelength issues, they decided to part ways amicably," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying.

Shruti Haasan has already deleted all the photos with her now ex-boyfriend from her Instagram.

Recently, the 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire' actress had taken a break from social media and she then marked her return with a cryptic post.

"It’s been a crazy ride, learning so much about myself and about people. We should never be sorry for all the things we can be or need to be," she wrote.

For the unversed, Shruti and Santanu first started interacting with each other through social media.

Santanu, who happens to be a doodle artist, slid into the actor’s DMs and they both started talking.

In an earlier interview, Shruti Haasan had revealed that she had sent Hazarika one of her poems, in response to which he sent her an elaborate artwork.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire', alongside Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
