Samantha Ruth Prabhu Is Pregnant, Set To Welcome First Baby With Raj Nidimoru This Year: Reports
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is reportedly expecting her first child with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.
It's good news for Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The celebrity couple, who got married six months ago, are expecting their first child. The duo had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on December 1, 2025, in Coimbatore. The power couple has yet to officially confirm the pregnancy news; however, several media outlets have reported it, citing sources. HT City quoted an insider to confirm that Samantha is indeed pregnant.
"Yes, it is true. The couple is truly delighted for this new beginning, and they will make an announcement in some time," the publication quoted a source as saying.
For the unversed, the rumours of Samantha's pregnancy first surfaced when she was seen walking around with a slight baby bump. Several pap videos highlighted the same thing, and fans were quick to notice. In the videos, Samantha was dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, while Raj wore a brown button-down shirt over a black round-neck T-shirt, jeans, and a cap.

Samantha and Raj got married at the Linga Bhairavi temple within the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. The private ceremony was only attended by close family members and friends. The couple then shared the pictures on Instagram, confirming months of speculation about their relationship.
The celebrity couple had first collaborated on projects such as 'The Family Man' and later on 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. Years after the release of the second season of the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer, rumours started doing the rounds that Samantha was possibly dating Raj.
It was in September 2025 that Samantha shared a reflective Instagram post about finding real love in her thirties. In the post, she wrote, “No one told me I was already whole. No one told me that love... real love... would find me as I was, without twisting myself into someone I was never meant to be. Then came my thirties. Something softened. Something opened. I stopped dragging around the weight of old mistakes.” The message was widely believed to be her confirmation of a relationship with the filmmaker.
The news of the pregnancy arrives during a busy and fruitful phase in Samantha Ruth Prabhu's career. Her latest release, 'Maa Inti Bangaaram', has opened to good reviews. The Telugu release earned Rs 23.10 crore in its opening weekend, with the biggest single-day haul on Sunday at Rs 10.10 crore. The worldwide collection stands at Rs 41.79 crore.
Before the film's release, Samantha and Raj also visited the Tirumala temple with the film's team to seek blessings.
