Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu officially tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a sacred Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore on December 1. Samantha shared the first pictures from the intimate wedding on Monday. Later, her close friend Shilpa Reddy posted additional photos and videos, offering a detailed glimpse into the serene, spiritually rooted celebration. The photos featured the couple sitting together in traditional attire during a puja and warm moments shared with loved ones.

Other frames showed neatly arranged ceremonial items like turmeric, coconuts, kumkum, flowers, betel leaves, and a folded saree.

One of Shilpa’s photos showed Samantha and Raj seated together in their wedding attire, looking at each other with warmth and calm. In another clip, Shilpa revealed the thoughtfully curated wedding gifts – known as vivah kanukalu – handed to attendees. The hamper included incense made from Isha’s flowers, a personal note from Sadhguru, India-made chocolate bars, and a perfume from Samantha’s preferred brand, Secret Alchemist.

Shilpa also shared a video expressing her excitement for the day, noting that the ceremony preparations began as early as 6 am. She described the Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha as a “consecration of marriages,” rooted in ancient yogic tradition. According to her, the ritual enables the couple to unite on an elemental level, forging a deeper, more profound bond. She also posted visuals of the venue adorned with beautifully arranged lamps, diyas, natural blossoms, white flowers, pink roses, and flower baskets placed thoughtfully across the space.

Another picture shared by Shilpa featured her seated beside Samantha, holding her hand while the bride smiled warmly. Raj sat next to Samantha as the couple wore garlands, signifying the sacred union. In her caption, Shilpa wrote about enjoying the ceremony and described her look of the day –a simple handwoven Kanchi cotton sari in ‘auspicious leaf green’ with a red border, paired with traditional South Indian temple jewellery from Manjula Jewellers.

This marks Samantha’s second marriage. She was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, and the couple had celebrated their union with both Christian and Hindu wedding rituals. Raj, too, was earlier married to Shhyamali De, with the two reportedly separating in 2022.
