"Unfortunate": Nani Apologises After Rashmika Mandanna-Vijay Deverakonda Pics Are Displayed At 'Hi Nanna' Event
Actor Nani and the makers of his upcoming film 'Hi Nanna' were called out after the vacation pictures of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were displayed at a 'Hi Nanna' event.
Recently, actor Nani and the makers of his upcoming film 'Hi Nanna' were called out after the vacation pictures of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were displayed on the big screen at a 'Hi Nanna' event, hinting that the duo is dating. Several fans critcised the organisers for bringing Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda into something which has nothing to do with them.
For the unversed, the incident happened at the 'Hi Nanna' event held in Visakhapatnam. The entire audience, including actress Mrunal Thakur, was taken by surprise when the pictures of Rashmika and Vijay were put on the big screen.
The anchor of the show also asked the technician to take it down, but it all looked like a pre-planned stunt. Now, Nani has apologised for the incident.
"It’s unfortunate that happened. Even before I realised what was happening, the picture was taken down. We are all close friends. Vijay and Rashmika realise these things are happening. But, if someone was truly hurt by it, the team and I apologise for it," Nani told M9, as reported by Indian Express.
Nani also said that neither anchor Suma nor he were aware of what was going to happen.
“It’s a movie event, not one for a gossip website for us to pull such stunts,” he said.
Earlier, a video went viral in which throwback pictures of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna can be seen being displayed on the big screen at the event.
The anchor Suma then pretended to ask the organisers who decided to show these pictures on the big screen. Mrunal Thakur was seen surprised, and Nani was seen smiling.
When Suma spotted a photographer near her, she asked him if he was the one who clicked these pictures of Rashmika and Vijay in Bali.
Vijay Deverakonda or Rashmika Mandanna are yet to react this particular clip that is going viral on social media.
It is also not known whether the organisers took the permission of Vijay and Rashmika before using their pictures.
