Robert shared a heartwarming anecdote about introducing his two sons, aged six and eleven, to the Malayalam icon during a recent meeting.
According to him, the children's admiration for Mammootty wasn't influenced by their father's association with the actor – it grew naturally after watching his films.
Recalling the memorable encounter, Robert revealed that both boys were eager to take home a special memory from the meeting. While one asked Mammootty to sign his forearm, the other requested an autograph on the collar of his shirt. When someone wondered whether the signature on the shirt would eventually disappear, the younger fan had an instant reply: he had no intention of washing it again.
Robert added that the other son seemed to believe the autograph wasn't just on his skin but permanently etched in his heart. The excitement didn't end there. After Mammootty handed them chocolates along with the signed keepsakes, the older child insisted they wouldn't eat the treats but preserve them by framing them instead.
The innocent gestures left the legendary actor smiling. Mammootty also joked that the two boys appeared to be even bigger fans than their own father.
