Nag Ashwin's science-fiction spectacle 'Kalki 2898 AD', starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan, has managed to unite the Indian film fraternity and several actors have taken to social media to praise the film and people involved in it. The latest to join this list is Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mahesh Babu, who was last seen in 'Guntur Kaaram', said that 'Kalki 2898 AD' “blew” his mind away.

“#Kalki2898AD… blew my mind away. Just wow!! @nagashwin7, hats off to your futuristic vision. Every frame is a piece of art,” Mahesh Babu wrote.

Further in his review, Mahesh Babu praised the entire cast of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, saying, "@SrBachchan sir your towering screen presence is unmatched!! @ikamalhaasan sir every character you portray is uniquely yours! #Prabhas you have carried yet another magnum opus with ease. @deepikapadukone…amazing as always."

"Congratulations to @VyjayanthiFilms and the entire team on the phenomenal success," he added.

Earlier, the likes of Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Yash, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna had also praised 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

'Kalki 2898 AD' is currently on a money-making spree at the box office, and it remains to be seen whether the film goes past the Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide or not.

The new pan-India movie minted Rs 11.35 crore on Monday, the 12th day of its release. The total nett domestic across all languages now stands at Rs 521.40 crore.

As per the makers, 'Kalki 2898 AD' has gone past the Rs 900 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office.

Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a mix of Hindu mythology set in a dystopian world where Amitabh Bachchan's character has made it his mission to save the unborn child of Deepika Padukone’s character.

For the unversed, 'Kalki 2898 AD' also features cameos by Dulquer Salmaan, SS Rajamouli, Mrunal Thakur, Ram Gopal Varma, and Vijay Deverakonda.
