'Naatu Naatu' was competing against Taylor Swift’s 'Carolina' from 'Where the Crawdads Sing', 'Ciao Papa' from 'Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio', Lady Gaga’s 'Hold My Hand' from 'Top Gun: Maverick', and 'Lift Me Up' from 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', performed by Rihanna.
Composer MM Keeravani, along with singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj won the Golden Globe for coming up with the uber-popular track for 'RRR'.
However, 'RRR' failed to win in the Best Picture: Non-English Language category as it lost out the top prize to 'Argentina, 1985'.
Now, it needs to be seen whether the movie gets nominated for the Oscars or not. The movie has submitted itself for consideration in various Oscars categories.
