'Kantara' Star Rishab Shetty Visits Mahaswamy Temple With Family. See Pics
'Kantara' actor Rishab Shetty recently visited Divya Kshetra Hariharapura in Karnataka with his family.
'Kantara' actor Rishab Shetty recently visited Divya Kshetra Hariharapura in Karnataka. For the unversed, the Mahaswamy Temple is situated on the banks of the river Thunga. Rishab Shetty visited the temple with his wife Pragathi Shetty and their children. During their visit, the family was seen seeking blessings from Paramapoojya Mahaswamiji. Rishab Shetty along with his family was seen offering prayers at the Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Sharadamba. "From Little Steps to Little Words. We are blessed to share with you that, by the grace of Shri Sharadambe, our little girl's 'Akshara Abhyasa' ceremony was fulfilled," Rishab Shetty wrote on Instagram.

Besides paying their respects at the temple, the family also received blessings from Lord Mahaswamy temple.
On the work front, Rishab Shetty is currently working on his much awaited film 'Kantara: Chapter 1'. For the unversed, 'Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1’ has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty himself.
In March 2023, the makers had revealed that 'Kantara' will be having a prequel, which will explore the events first introduced in the film.

Talking about 'Kantara', which released in theatres in 2022, the film grossed over Rs 400 crore globally. In Karnataka, it emerged as the highest grossing film of all time.
‘Kantara’, which translates to mystical forest, followed the story of a local demigod (Bhoota) who trades forest land to the tribe's people with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when the king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhoota.
