As per several reports, Atlee is gearing up to direct Allu Arjun and Trisha Krishnan together in his next film.

Ever since 'Jawan' did phenomenal numbers at the worldwide box office, fans of director Atlee Kumar have been wondering what the filmmaker will do next, and with whom he will be teaming up. In the latest entertainment news, looks like, we have finally gotten the answer. As per several reports, Atlee is gearing up to direct Allu Arjun. The reports say that the upcoming movie is going to be a big venture, and it will also have Anirudh Ravichander composing the music. Now, it has also emerged that the makers are roping in famous South actress Trisha Krishnan to play the leading lady in the film. 

If this development is indeed correct, then this will mark the first time that Allu Arjun and Trisha Krishnan will team up for a project.

For the unversed, Atlee's 'Jawan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi, was released in cinemas on September 7, 2023. The film went on to do a business of more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. 

'Jawan' currently holds the record for being the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. 

Speaking of Allu Arjun, he was last seen in the 2021 film 'Pushpa: The Rise'. 

He will next be seen in the sequel to the film, titled 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is slated to release in cinemas on August 15, 2024.

As per several reports, the teaser for the film is expected to be released on April 8, which happens to be Allu Arjun's birthday. 

Talking about Trisha Krishnan, the actress was last seen in 'Leo', alongside Thalapathy Vijay. The film, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, did a worldwide business of more than Rs 500 crore.
