Amitabh Bachchan Looks Battle Ready In 'Kalki 2898 AD' New Poster

A new poster from 'Kalki 2898 AD', featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, has been unveiled.

'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, is one of the most eagerly awaited Indian movies of 2024, and the trailer for the film will be unveiled on Monday, June 10. The dystopian sci-fi epic promises to be a thrilling adventure, and we cannot wait for the film to release in cinemas. In the latest entertainment news, a new poster from 'Kalki 2898 AD', featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in his Ashwatthama avatar, has been unveiled on social media. 

In the poster, the actor looks battle ready as he is holding his Astra and sporting a divine gem on his forehead. He’s seen standing in the middle of a battlefield with some men fallen on the ground, alongside a life-size vehicle behind him.

The caption read, “His wait is ending… 3 days to go for #Kalki2898AD Trailer, Out on June 10th”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s character as Ashwatthama was unveiled through a monumental projection at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat in Madhya Pradesh. 

The selection of Nemawar and Narmada Ghat for this occasion held great significance as it is believed that Ashwatthama still walks the grounds of Narmada, further leaving fans excited for the film and the actor’s portrayal.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, the film hits the screens on June 27, 2024. 

As per several reports, the film is one of the most expensive Indian movies ever made.

Recently, the makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' had unveiled a two-part prelude to the film, titled 'B&B: Bujji & Bhairava’, featuring Prabhas’ character Bhairava and his futuristic vehicle Bujji, voiced by Keerthy Suresh.

The series is currently streaming on Prime Video.
