Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been making headlines after his first look from Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released. The first trailer of the upcoming movie, co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, released on Monday. The latest movie trailer earned Amitabh Bachchan immense appreciation from netizens for his dedication to his demanding role at the age of 81. However, while sharing the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ trailer on his official blog on Tumblr, Big B revealed that he had been “frustrated” with his phone.

He wrote, “Trying desperately to fix my phone… and what was set before suddenly changed so tried to get help from all quarters and failed… so frustrating… Was wanting to have English and Hindi typing, by typing in English, a Hindi word and it comes out on Devanagari… but despite several hours of following links and experiments, I am now very close to – BREAKING MY PHONE, BY THROWING IT OUT OF THE WINDOW!!!”

Amitabh Bachchan later clarified, “No no no… no such luck… just letting off steam.”

Big B also said that he has been thinking about which project to work on after ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The Bollywood megastar said earlier actors wouldn’t have anyone to guide them about good scripts, but this generation of actors has so many agents and consultants helping them choose their next project.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “So been in the company of prospective script readings and hearing various ideas and thoughts to decide what to do next after KALKI 2898 AD, and Section 84 IPC… to fathom the conditions from market bhujjes… which in common parlance means the genius genies of the market condition personnel who guide and give inputs on their reckoning what is doing well, what the cinema going audiences are liking or not liking etc.”

He added, “Agents, management experts and the lot who run their businesses on a professional level and make a living… hmm… Never ever had any of these facilities in my time… We just looked for the opportunity of another job, so we could survive the condition of running the home… and have a living. Now it is different. The next generation thinks and operates in this manner… I just look for another job and hope it comes, so our ‘kitchens can run’.”

Coming back to Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, it will release in cinemas on June 27, 2024. As per several reports, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is one of the most expensive Indian movies ever made.
