For a recent head-turning appearance, Wamiqa Gabbi slipped into a midnight black crystal-embellished saree set from ITRH. Taking to Instagram, the birthday girl shared jaw-dropping photos of herself in the drape.

The label’s website described the ensemble as its ‘Shyamali Saree Set’, featuring a structured, strapless corset paired with a crystal-embellished saree. The strapless corset blouse featured a sculpted, sweetheart-style neckline and a body-hugging silhouette, while its lace-up detailing at the back added another sultry element. Tiny crystals scattered densely across the black fabric created a shimmering finish that caught the light beautifully, lending the otherwise monochrome palette plenty of drama.

Rather than following the structure of a conventional saree, the lower half fell in a sleek, figure-skimming column, with the fabric gathered and draped around Wamiqa's waist. The crystal-studded sheer pallu brought softness to the structured corset, cascading from the waist and extending into a long, fluid drape. In some frames, Wamiqa Gabbi carried it over one shoulder, highlighting its translucent finish and sparkling embellishments. The combination of corsetry and contemporary draping gave the classic saree a distinctly modern, red-carpet-ready makeover.
Wamiqa Gabbi kept the jewellery restrained enough to allow all that sparkle to breathe. She accessorised the look with diamond floral stud earrings and a matching statement ring from Ira Sva Fine Jewellery. Skipping a necklace proved to be a smart styling choice, leaving the strapless neckline completely unobstructed.
Her beauty look leaned into polished ‘90s-inspired glamour. Wamiqa Gabbi wore her short dark hair in a deep side-parted, voluminous blowout, with softly curved ends framing her face. Her luminous base was warmed with a generous sweep of pink blush across the cheeks, while softly defined brows, taupe-brown eyeshadow, mascara and subtle eye definition kept things sophisticated. A creamy rose lip completed the look.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Wamiqa Gabbi most recently featured in ‘DC’, co-starring Lokesh Kanagaraj. Prior to this, she starred in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh.
Before these, Wamiqa was seen alongside Akshay Kumar in the horror-comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie also starred Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal, among others.
