Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor has long favoured a fashion vocabulary that is equal parts glamorous, feminine and confidently sensual. For this look, Vaani Kapoor turned to Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, slipping into a shimmering muted rose-gold and silver metallic lehenga set. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared jaw-dropping photos of herself in the lehenga.

The body-hugging skirt sat high on the waist and closely skimmed her hips and thighs before gently flaring towards the floor. Thousands of metallic embellishments were arranged in linear, geometric patterns across its sheer-toned base, creating an almost liquid effect as they caught the light. The elongated, fitted silhouette culminated in a softly flared hem and train rather than the traditional voluminous lehenga shape.

The matching blouse was just as striking. It featured a structured, bustier-like construction with a sculpted sweetheart neckline and dense metallic embellishment. Broad embellished sections rose from the bodice towards the shoulders, while the midriff was left bare. Completing the three-piece effect was a sheer, heavily embellished drape that wrapped around the neck and shoulders before cascading down Vaani’s back to the floor. The fluid cape-like treatment beautifully softened the precision of the fitted mermaid silhouette.
With an outfit this sparkly, Vaani Kapoor wisely avoided excessive jewellery. She wore delicate Azotiique drop earrings featuring sparkling stones and added a few slim rings. There was no necklace competing with the intricately embellished neckline.
Her beauty look stayed firmly in glamorous territory. The Bollywood actress wore her warm brunette hair open in voluminous, side-parted waves, with soft movement through the lengths and gently tousled ends. Her makeup featured luminous skin, softly flushed peach-pink cheeks and defined brows. Black winged liner and fluttery lashes sharpened her eyes, while subtle neutral shadow kept things balanced. A glossy peachy lip completed the look, letting that molten metallic ensemble remain the undisputed star.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vaani Kapoor was last seen in her web series debut ‘Mandala Murders’, bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.
Prior to this, she was seen playing the female lead in Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raid 2’. The movie minted Rs 170 crore in India.
Vaani will be next seen in ‘Sarvgunn Sampann’. The social comedy, backed by Maddock Films, will premiere on Zee5. Also starring Ishwak Singh, the film is directed by Sonali Rattan Deshmukh and is set against the backdrop of the 1990s. It follows an unusual story in which Vaani plays the lookalike of an adult film star, using the premise to explore questions of identity, self-worth and the burden of social judgement.
