Shriya Saran stuns in sheer red saree.

Indian actress Shriya Saran has long had a soft spot for Indian silhouettes, and her traditional wardrobe consistently strikes that sweet spot between timeless elegance and modern glamour. Rich colours, statement blouses, classic jewellery and polished beauty choices frequently define her looks. Her latest outing follows that winning formula, with Shriya Saran embracing a fiery red palette and plenty of intricate gold detailing for an undeniably striking fashion moment.

The intricate vines trailed across the saree, while larger flower motifs added visual interest without making the ensemble appear overly heavy. A slim gold-trimmed border ran along the edges, neatly framing the fluid drape. The sheer texture allowed the tonal red underskirt to peek through, creating beautiful depth and movement.

The blouse, however, gave the traditional saree its sultrier edge. Shriya Saran paired it with a matching red, full-sleeved blouse featuring a plunging curved neckline and an elaborately embellished bust. Rows of gold-toned work decorated the structured lower portion, adding sparkle against the otherwise solid red fabric. The blouse was dramatically backless, held together by a narrow embellished strap across the lower back and tie-up detailing above. The combination of the sheer embroidered saree and daring blouse kept the overall styling rooted in tradition while adding a contemporary finish.

Shriya Saran allowed her jewellery to amplify the festive mood without introducing a necklace. She wore elaborate oxidised gold-toned chandelier earrings featuring multiple tiers and tiny dangling elements. Several statement rings adorned her fingers, including large floral designs, adding another ornate touch to the look. The decision to leave her neck bare was especially effective, allowing the blouse's plunging neckline and detailed craftsmanship to remain in focus.

Beauty-wise, Shriya Saran went full glamorous. Her voluminous brunette hair was styled in glossy, side-parted curls, with warm brown highlights beautifully visible through the lengths. Defined brows, softly smoked eyes, kohl and mascara created an intense gaze, while bronzed, luminous skin, sculpted cheeks and a soft pink lip balanced the drama. A tiny red bindi provided the perfect traditional finishing touch.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shriya Saran can now be seen alongside Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat and more in ‘Drishyam 3’. ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ released in cinemas today (October 2).

Prior to this, Shriya Saran featured in the web series 'Space Gen: Chandrayaan'. This fictional series looked at how Indian space scientists rebounded after the failure of 'Chandrayaan 2' to launch another mission. Apart from Shriya Saran, the show also starred Nakuul Mehta, Gopal Datt and Prakash Belawadi.
