Indian actress Shriya Saran, who turned a year older today, has always had a fashion vocabulary that moves effortlessly between traditional elegance and contemporary glamour. Whether she is embracing an ornate saree, a dramatic gown or a sleek modern silhouette, the actress rarely lets the clothes overpower her personality. Her strongest looks often rely on thoughtful draping, feminine details and styling that feels polished without becoming predictable. For the look, Shriya Saran slipped into Gauri & Nainika’s Cowl Neck Draped Pencil Dress, a sophisticated satin creation in a delicate sea mint shade that appears almost ivory under the light. Taking to Instagram, the Indian actress shared gorgeous photos of herself in the dress.

The dress, priced at Rs 69,000, came with crystal embellishment and a draped peplum. The soft, almost ivory-toned sea mint satin gave the ensemble a luminous finish, while the fluid draping beautifully contrasted with its streamlined pencil silhouette.

The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the neckline. A dramatically plunging cowl drape framed a sheer nude tulle panel across Shriya’s décolletage. Elaborate floral embellishments made up of shimmering crystals and pearl-like beads climbed asymmetrically across the panel, creating the illusion of jewellery floating over her skin. The fabric gathered neatly around the waist before forming a softly draped peplum detail at one hip. Below it, the clean pencil skirt fell to a sophisticated mid-calf length.
Shriya Saran completed the outfit with pointed white pumps, keeping the tonal palette wonderfully cohesive. She added jewellery from Golden Window and Ishhaara. Rather than introducing a necklace that could compete with the embellished neckline, Shriya chose statement pearl-like earrings, multiple rings and slim gold bangles. The restrained accessorising allowed the intricate crystal work to remain the centrepiece.
Her beauty look followed the same soft, romantic direction. Shriya Saran’s dark hair was swept into a relaxed textured updo, with wispy, curled tendrils deliberately left loose around her face. Her makeup was fresh and luminous, featuring softly defined eyes, groomed brows, subtly flushed cheeks and a warm rosy lip.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shriya Saran was last seen in the web series 'Space Gen: Chandrayaan'. This fictional series looked at how Indian space scientists rebounded after the failure of 'Chandrayaan 2' to launch another mission. Apart from Shriya Saran, the show also starred Nakuul Mehta, Gopal Datt and Prakash Belawadi.
Next up, she will star in 'Drishyam 3' alongside Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat and more. ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
