'Ted Lasso' Season 3 Release Date Revealed, Watch First Teaser!

The makers of 'Ted Lasso' have finally revealed the release date of Season 3. Apple TV+ on Tuesday announced that the sports comedy will be releasing on the platform on March 15 with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter. Along with the release date, Apple TV+ also dropped the first teaser for Season 3. As per Variety, the third installment of the series will be consisting of a total of 12 episodes 

The official description of Season 3 reads: "The newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ‘wonder kid,’ has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt)."

'Ted Lasso' has seasoned actors like Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernandez, Kola Bokinni, Billy Harris, and James Lance.

At the conclusion of the second season, Nate stormed off the field, tore down Lasso's ‘Believe’ sign and began his journey as head coach of competing team West Ham United.

In addition to the epic rivalry between Ted and Nate, ‘Ted Lasso’ season 3 will introduce two new characters: Ann Baker will portray Ted's mother, and Jodi Balfour will play a venture capitalist.

The Emmy-winning series, which first aired on Apple TV+ in August 2020 and released its second season in 2021, has received immense praise since its debut.

The sports comedy series follows American football coach Ted after he signed on to coach the soccer team AFC Richmond in the Premier League. The show focuses on Lasso’s coaching style and how he tries to grow the bond in the team.
