The much-awaited third season of ‘Ted Lasso’ is all set to return in spring 2023. Apple TV+ has also dropped the first look of the upcoming season. And we can’t wait!

It’s almost time to return to the pitch! Apple TV+ gave ‘Ted Lasso’ fans the perfect new year gift as they unveiled the first look of the Emmy-winning show’s third season. While the streaming service didn’t reveal a specific release date, the third season is set to premiere this spring. On Thursday, Apple TV+ took to Twitter and shared the first look, which teased the intense rivalry between Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and Nate (Nick Mohammed). And we can’t wait to see how the new season will unfold!
The first look photo shows Ted Lasso coming face to face with Nate after his shocking betrayal at the end of the second season. Ted can be seen smiling while Nate, dressed in all black, gives Ted a more intense stare.

Naturally, fans were excited as soon as the first look photo dropped but also wanted more.
One fan wrote, “But spring is 3 months. Can you clarify if it's early spring, mid-spring, or late spring?”
Another one added, “where’s the trailer, besties???”
A third user commented, “we need a specific date or a trailer.”
“Like March spring or May spring? Like Whitney says, I will always love you but dang it I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY. Don’t keep us waiting,” another comment read.
Spoilers ahead! At the conclusion of the second season, Nate stormed off the field, tore down Lasso's ‘Believe’ sign and began his journey as head coach of competing team West Ham United.
In addition to the epic rivalry between Ted and Nate, ‘Ted Lasso’ season 3 will introduce two new characters: Ann Baker will portray Ted's mom, and Jodi Balfour will play a venture capitalist.
The Emmy-winning series, which first aired on Apple TV+ in August 2020 and released its second season in 2021, has received immense praise since its debut.
The sports comedy series follows American football coach Ted after he signed on to coach soccer team AFC Richmond in the Premier League. The show focuses on Lasso’s coaching style and how he tries to grow the bond of the team.
In June, writer-actor Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent in ‘Ted Lasso’, confirmed that the show would conclude after the third season.
