Karan Johar's Priceless Reaction As Jennifer Aniston Wears Manish Malhotra's Lehenga In 'Murder Mystery 2'

Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar have been good friends for a long time, and he had a priceless reaction to ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston wearing a lehenga made by the Indian designer.

'Murder Mystery 2' will release on Netflix on March 31.

The trailer for Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's 'Murder Mystery 2' is out and we cannot wait for the movie to release on Netflix on March 1. However, in the trailer, eagle-eyed fans spotted Jennifer Aniston wearing a lehenga. Now, it has come to surface that the lehenga has been designed by none other than India’s very own Manish Malhotra. The trailer for 'Murder Mystery 2' was shared on the official Instagram page of Netflix India. Director and producer Karan Johar commented on the post, saying: "Go Manish!!! It's your lehenga."

In the trailer shared by Netflix India, we can see Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's characters Audrey and Nick Spitz being invited to the wedding of the Maharaja from the first movie.

The Maharaja then somehow goes missing and the Spitz find themselves in the middle of another mystery.

"Oh Jen looks so beautiful in that Ghagra," wrote one fan on Instagram.

"Seeing Jenn in Indian outfit. Now I’ve seen everything," said another fan.

"I don’t get why they added Indian element to it. Maybe because it’s in trend and will grab more audience. But it makes no sense. Could’ve been a fancy wedding of any culture," stated one fan.

Manish Malhotra has himself reposted several stories on Instagram about his lehenga being featured in the movie.

The first 'Murder Mystery' had received mixed reviews from critics, but the movie went on to bring large viewership numbers for Netflix. 

The sequel has been shot in Hawaii and the movie also features Adeel Akhtar, Danny Boon, Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, and Jodie Turner-Smith.

The film will release on Netflix on March 31.
