Trevor Noah would be hosting the Grammys 2023, the Record Academy has confirmed. As a result, this would be the third consecutive time that he would be hosting the awards night. The Grammys 2023 would be hosted on February 5 and the nominations are led by Beyonce who has received nods in 9 categories.

The Grammys 2023 would be taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

"Emmy Award-winning comedian @Trevornoah will return as master of ceremonies for the 2023 #GRAMMYs, Music's Biggest Night. The 65th GRAMMYs will be Noah's 3rd time hosting," the official handle of Grammys tweeted.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar is at the second spot with eight nominations while Adele and Brandi Carlile are tied on seven.

Future, Harry Styles, Mary J Blige, DJ Khaled and Randy Merrill have received six nominations each.

“One of my favorite things about the Grammys as a whole is it is one of the few places where you get to experience artists in their rawest element, which is performing their music live,” Noah said in an interview with Billboard.

“Brandi Carlile performing a song live and you’re hearing her voice and listening to her play her instruments — there’s nothing like it. You develop a deep appreciation for what these people are doing beyond just the music that they make," he added.

Beyonce, Adele, Styles, Lamar and Lizzo are the five contenders who have been nominated in the top three all-genre categories; record, album and song of the year.

Newcomer Steve Lacy is also in contention for both record and song of the year for the chart-topping number 'Bad Habit'.
