The gown came in a deep wine-burgundy shade, rendered in Rimzim Dadu’s signature metallic-textured fabric that mimicked the appearance of fine, ostrich-feather-like strands. The surface treatment created a tactile, almost kinetic quality, allowing the dress to shimmer and ripple with every movement.
The silhouette was fitted through the bodice and hips, gently flaring out towards the hem, creating a statuesque, elongated line. A plunging V-neckline added sensuality, while the structured torso ensured the look remained sculptural rather than soft. The feather-textured detailing intensified around the hip and lower skirt, giving the gown volume and drama without overwhelming the body. The interplay of sharp structure and flowing fringe perfectly captured the balance between edge and opulence.
Malaika Arora paired the gown with an extravagant diamond necklace, featuring a bold central gemstone that sat dramatically against her décolletage.
