The red saree, a striking piece, was meticulously hand-block printed using eco-friendly dyes and crafted by the indigenous Ajrakh artisans of Gujarat. The georgette saree carried the brand’s signature Ajrakh motifs, created through an intensive sixteen-step process that included washing, dyeing, printing, and drying.
The ensemble was elevated with delicate sequin work that added subtle luminosity to the rich red base. Its highlight, however, was the dramatic fringe detail that cascaded along the pallu and neckline of the stitched choli, giving the traditional textile a contemporary movement and flair. The blouse featured a halter-style cut with gathered tassel-like detailing in the front and an open tie-back silhouette, balancing sensuality with artisanal charm.
Kriti Sanon’s accessories amplified the earthy, handcrafted aesthetic of the saree. She wore intricately carved long golden earrings, their antique finish and meenakari-inspired detailing echoing the Ajrakh craft. On her wrists, she sported a bold stack of gold-toned bangles paired with statement rings. She carried an antique-style metallic clutch, which complemented the rustic elegance of the outfit. Her footwear was a pair of embroidered juttis, grounding the ensemble in traditional artistry.
