Dhanush and Kriti Sanon visited Pune’s Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple to celebrate the success of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.
Following the theatrical release of their romantic drama ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, Indian actors Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, along with director Aanand L. For the spiritual outing, Kriti opted for a traditional yet chic look, wearing a light green kurta paired with a gold and green-patterned sharara. She accessorised the ensemble with dainty rings and massive statement jhumkas.
Dhanush kept it casual in a white kurta paired with blue jeans, while director Aanand L. Rai was seen in a light pink shirt and jeans. Several photos from their outing went viral.

The temple visit came amidst a strong box office performance for the film. Released on Friday, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has shown consistent growth over its opening weekend. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film opened with Rs 16 crore net on Friday. It saw a slight uptick on Saturday, grossing Rs 17 crore, followed by a significant jump on Sunday with Rs 19 crore. The movie has now grossed over Rs 52 crore in India within just three days.
Overwhelmed by the response, Kriti Sanon took to social media to share a montage of glowing reviews. She expressed that her "heart was full" seeing the audience connect with her performance.
“The best feeling for an actor is when the audience connects with every little emotion in between the unspoken words of your character,” the ‘Do Patti’ actress wrote. She further described her character, Mukti, as the "most layered and tricky character" she has ever portrayed.
This spiritual visit mirrors their promotional campaign prior to the release. Before the film hit theatres, the lead pair had visited Varanasi to perform the Ganga aarti. Photos from that trip, including one where they posed with a young fan dressed as Lord Shiva, had gone viral on social media.
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ traces the journey of Shankar (Dhanush) and Mukti (Kriti). Their early romance hits a roadblock when Mukti decides to marry someone else, only for destiny to reunite them years later against the turbulent backdrop of war.
Looking ahead, Kriti Sanon is set to star in ‘Cocktail 2’ with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. Meanwhile, Dhanush has a busy slate with upcoming projects tentatively titled ‘D54’ and ‘D55’.
