She emerged first in a voluminous floor-length robe with blazer-inspired tailoring – structured shoulders, a collar, and a cinched waist – crafted from flowing black fabric. This robe set the stage for a grand reveal, as she dramatically cast it off to unveil a dazzling black bodycon gown beneath.
The gown, made from traditional Bandhani fabric, was adorned with a silver Bandhani print that lent it a sparkling, celestial allure. The fusion of a rich Indian tie-dye textile with a sleek, form-hugging silhouette captured Rahul Mishra’s vision of merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
The gown also featured a sweetheart neckline that complemented Janhvi Kapoor’s frame, while a bold thigh-high slit added a dose of risqué glamour.

Also in the pipeline is ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, a star-studded rom-com featuring Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maneish Paul. Produced by Dharma Productions, it is set for release on September 12.
Janhvi will also be seen alongside Ram Charan in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Peddi’. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film also features Shiva Raj Kumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
