Actress Bhumi Pednekar has steadily carved out a space for herself as one of Bollywood’s most fearless fashion risk-takers. Known for embracing silhouettes that blur the lines between sensuality and structure, the Bollywood diva’s style journey reflects confidence, control and an unapologetic embrace of her body. Whether she’s leaning into sculptural couture, experimental drapes, or bold monochromes, Bhumi consistently chooses looks that speak of power rather than prettiness. Her fashion choices often spotlight Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, making her red carpet and editorial appearances as memorable as her on-screen performances.

For this striking look, Bhumi Pednekar turned to designer Nikhil Thampi’s NAIA couture collection, stepping out in an all-black outfit that centred around a dramatic, conceptual gloved blouse paired with a fluid draped skirt. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared jaw-dropping photos of herself in the bold black ensemble.

Check out Bhumi Pednekar’s Instagram post below:

The blouse was crafted from sheer stretch net layered over a structured black base, with full-length sleeves that seamlessly transformed into glove-like extensions. These sleeves were meticulously encrusted with uncut kundan stones, arranged to echo traditional haathphool jewellery, lending the blouse an almost armoured quality when the embellishments caught the light.

The deep sweetheart neckline balanced the sharpness of the detailing with a sensual softness, while the sculpted fit moulded closely to Bhumi’s frame. Complementing the blouse was a high-waist black drape skirt rendered in heavy crepe, designed to fall cleanly and elongate the silhouette without competing with the drama above. In select frames, the look was layered with a cropped faux fur jacket, adding texture and a winter-glam contrast to the sleek couture base.

Accessories were kept deliberate and impactful. Bhumi Pednekar wore a statement kundan choker and matching earrings that mirrored the stonework on the blouse sleeves, creating a cohesive visual thread from neckline to wrist.

Her hair was styled in a sleek, pulled-back bun, ensuring the focus remains on the neckline, shoulders, and glove detailing. Makeup leaned sultry and sculpted, with softly bronzed eyes, defined lashes, and a muted brown lip that complemented the all-black palette without overpowering it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar last featured in ‘The Royals’, which also starred Ishaan Khatter in the lead role. Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday and Vihaan Samat featured in key roles in the show. The show has been renewed for a second season.

Prior to this, she was seen alongside Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Harsh Gujral in ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.

Currently, Bhumi can be seen in a new web series ‘Daldal’, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She will reportedly also star alongside Imran Khan in his comeback film ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’.
