Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has steadily carved a fashion identity that feels youthful yet increasingly refined. While she can pull off playful mini dresses, sharp tailoring and experimental silhouettes with ease, her Indian wear appearances often reveal a more elegant side to her style. From breezy lehengas to statement sarees, Ananya knows how to embrace tradition without making it feel predictable. For her latest outing, Ananya Panday turned muse for Manish Malhotra in a magnificent royal blue silk Paithani saree that celebrated Maharashtra’s rich weaving heritage. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared mesmerising photos of herself in the blue drape.

The handwoven drape was scattered with delicate antique silver zari motifs, while its broad silver-toned border introduced intricate geometric detailing. A contrasting bright pink border, hand-embroidered with antique zardozi and embellished with sequins, added another vibrant dimension to the regal blue palette.

However, the real showstopper was the elaborate pallu. Woven against a gleaming silver base, it featured colourful peacocks, flowers, leaves and branches in jewel tones, transforming the traditional drape into a work of art.
Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, Ananya Panday paired the saree with a dark navy strapless bandeau blouse rather than a conventional Paithani blouse. The fitted, minimalist piece created a striking contrast against the grandeur of the handloom saree. Its low-cut back was finished with long decorative tie strings and tassels.
The Bollywood diva’s jewellery remained rooted in traditional aesthetics. Ananya Panday wore an elaborate antique gold choker featuring teardrop-shaped motifs, colourful enamel detailing and multiple layers of dangling gold beads. She stacked ornate gold bangles on her wrists and added a delicate ring and a minimal gold ear cuff. The statement necklace did most of the heavy lifting, beautifully complementing the metallic zari work without competing with the saree.
Ananya Panday’s beauty look was equally polished. Her hair was centre-parted and pulled into a sleek, neat bun decorated with fresh-looking purple, white and pale green flowers. A tiny red bindi provided the perfect traditional finishing touch.
For makeup, the young Bollywood actress opted for luminous skin, softly sculpted cheeks and subtly defined brows. Black winged eyeliner and mascara sharpened her eyes, while a muted peachy-neutral lip kept the overall palette understated.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ananya was last seen on the big screen in the May 2026 release ‘Chand Mera Dil’. Directed by Vivek Soni and co-written by Soni and Tushar Paranjape, the film featured her alongside actor Lakshay. The movie explores the journey of two college lovers whose relationship is challenged as they face the new responsibilities of adulthood, leading them to reconsider their idea of love.
Prior to this, Ananya Panday was seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also starred Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff.
