Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar-starrer 'Srikanth' is continuing to perform decently well at the box office. After more than a week of its release, 'Srikanth' is still minting moolah. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the Tushar Hiranandani directorial minted Rs 4 crore on Sunday, the 10th day of its release. 

The total nett domestic collection of 'Srikanth' now stands at Rs 26.10 crore in India. The new Hindi film had an overall 25.21 per cent Hindi occupancy on Sunday, May 19.

Bollywood actors such as Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have already showered praise on 'Srikanth' and Rajkummar Rao's performance in the film. 

Akshay Kumar had taken to Instagram as he wrote, “Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must watch! Picture dekh ke mazza aa gaya. Rajkummar Rao, bhai ab toh acting classes shuru kar de. You are simply brilliant.” 

To this, Rajkummar replied, “Thank you so much my dearest Akshay sir. Aapse hi seekhte hai sir. You’re the best.” 

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh wrote, “An uplifting story & a beautiful performance from a special actor. Congrats to the team of #Srikanth.”

Coming back to ‘Srikanth’, Rajkummar Rao portrays the role of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist who fearlessly pursued his dreams despite his visual impairment. 

‘Srikanth’ marks Rajkummar Rao's significant turnaround from his previous theatrical releases such as ‘Bheed’ and ‘HIT: The First Case’.

Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The upcoming Hindi movie will be releasing in cinemas on May 31, 2024. The trailer for the film was recently released, and it with met unanimous praise.

Rajkummar Rao also has ‘Stree 2’ in the pipeline. The movie is slated to be released in cinemas in August 2024.
