‘Singham Again’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Witness Big Dip In First Monday Collections
‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ witnessed a dip of nearly 50 per cent on first Monday.

‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ have emerged as big Diwali releases. Both films have already gone past the Rs 100 crore mark, making it a bumper Diwali weekend for the distributors and exhibitors. However, the new Hindi movies witnessed a massive drop on their first Monday, the fourth day of their release. Both ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ dropped by nearly 50 per cent on Monday, and it remains to be seen how these two projects fare at the ticket counters in the coming week days.
‘Singham Again’, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, earned Rs 17.50 crore on its first Monday, witnessing a 51.05 per cent dip. The Rohit Shetty directorial had minted Rs 35.75 crore on Sunday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
The total nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 139.25 crore, and the movie is expected to cross the Rs 150 crore by the end of Tuesday. On the fourth day of its release, the film had an overall occupancy of 33.78 per cent.
Coming to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, the new Hindi movie earned Rs 17.50 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release. The film witnessed a drop of 47.76 per cent on Monday.
The total nett domestic collection of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ now stands at Rs 123.50 crore. Earlier, the Anees Bazmee directorial earned Rs 35.50 crore on the opening day of its release, while on Saturday, it witnessed a slight jump, earning Rs 37 crore. On Sunday, the film then earned Rs 33.50 crore. On Monday, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ had an occupancy of 41.08 per cent.
Going by the occupancy, it is fair to say that it is ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ that did better than ‘Singham Again’, despite making the same amount of money on Monday.
Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' has been released in more cinemas and screens, as compared to 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Earlier, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' had emerged as the biggest opener for Kartik Aaryan and director Anees Bazmee.
'Singham Again' had also emerged as the biggest opener for Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. The action entertainer features Arjun Kapoor playing the main antagonist, while Salman Khan has a cameo appearance as Chulbul Pandey in the film.
Both 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' had opened to mixed reviews.
