SRK’s ‘Jawan’ Crosses Rs 600 Crore Worldwide, Inches Closer To Rs 350 Crore Mark In India

‘Jawan’, starring SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, has zoomed past the Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office.

Shah Rukh Khan-led action-thriller 'Jawan’ has been making and breaking records ever since it released on September 7. The new movie, also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles, has crossed the coveted Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office. ‘Jawan’ is also performing extraordinarily well in India and is inching closer to the Rs 350 crore mark. SRK’s film also became the fastest film to enter the 300 crore club (nett BOC Hindi) beating ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathaan’. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the same.

Film trade analysts Ramesh Bala and Sumit Kadel took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the latest worldwide box office collection of ‘Jawan’.

Domestically, ‘Jawan’ is inching closer to the Rs 350 crore mark. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the action thriller minted Rs 26.50 crore nett in India on its sixth day after its release. The current numbers take the total business of ‘Jawan’ in all languages, in India, to Rs 345.58 crore.

‘Jawan’ released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Besides SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, it also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi.

‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, also features Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in cameo appearances.

The film is a mass entertainer and features SRK in double roles. ‘Jawan’ focuses on the journey of a man who sets out to correct the wrongs of the society with the help of a group of women.

Several celebrities including Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, and Ameesha Patel reached out to Shah Rukh Khan on social media and showered him with love and praise.

Shah Rukh Khan, who made a comeback in 2023 with his first film of the year ‘Pathaan’, will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Dunki’. It stars him with Taapsee Pannu for the first time.
