‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ And ‘Ulajh’ Fail Monday Test. Check Box Office Numbers Here

Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is struggling at the box office. Janhvi Kapoor's new Hindi movie ‘Ulajh’ is also having a similar run at the box office. Both the movies that were released on August 2 are not able to find many takers at the ticket counters, leading to dismal box office collections in their first week. As per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ minted Rs 1.04 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah-starrer ‘Ulajh’ minted just Rs 57 lakh on Monday.
The total nett domestic collection of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ now stands at Rs 7.79 crore. As per NDTV India, the movie's budget is more than Rs 100 crore. And hence, it is safe to say that the new Hindi movie is proving to be a box office disaster.
For the unversed, the opening of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ opening was worse than Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’, which had collected Rs 2.40 crore on Day 1.
On the other hand, the total nett domestic collection of ‘Ulajh’ currently stands at Rs 5.50 crore.
Speaking of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, the new Hollywood film minted Rs 2.25 crore on Monday, the 11th day of its release. The total nett collection of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ in India now stands at Rs 111.65 crore.
The movie has already emerged as the highest Hollywood grosser of the year in India, beating ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ (Rs 106 crore).
Lastly, Nag Ashwin's ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, minted Rs 0.50 crore on Monday, the 40th day of its release.
The total nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 640.15 crore. The movie now needs just Rs 10 lakh to go past the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’.
It can be assumed that ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will go past ‘Jawan’ later today, marking a remarkable feat for the sci-fi magnum-opus.
