The film had opened with Rs 7.75 crore on Friday, and despite the Monday slump, the current collections indicate that it’s gradually finding its audience. With strong word of mouth and star power backing it, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ may still have room to rally.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar had shared a heartfelt request for the fans who wanted to see 'Kesari Chapter 2'. Speaking to media, he said, “I humbly request you all to please keep your phones in your pockets and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will mean a lot. If you try to check your Instagram during the movie, it will be a humiliation for the film. So I request everyone to keep their phones away.”
‘Kesari Chapter 2’ deals with the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre happened on April 13, 1919. It has been produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.
