"Problem Usse Hai": Taapsee Paanu On Being Asked Whether She Will Talk To Kangana Ranaut

If you are a Bollywood buff like us, you would be aware about the beef between actresses Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu. However, if you are not aware, here is what happened. Both the stars made headlines a few years ago as both actresses got into a war of words on social media. The feud, in the end, became way more ugly when Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli ended up calling Taapsee as a "sasti copy".

"Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy," Kangana's sister Rangoli had tweeted back in 2019. 

Now, in the latest Bollywood news, Taapsee gave an interview to the Lallantop and it was there, that she was asked about Kangana Ranaut and the comments made by Rangoli where she called the 'Pink' actress as "sasti copy".

Replying to the question, Taapsee said: "I don’t know, honestly. But if there is a situation where she is in front of me, then I will go and say hello. Mujhe thodi problem hai, problem usse hai. So uski marzi.” 

“She is a very good actress and when she said ‘sasti copy’ I took it as a compliment," she said when asked about the sasti copy comment.

When Rangoli had earlier made the sasti copy comment, Taapsee had chosen to remain silent, however, this particular comment did not go down well with director Anurag Kashyap. 

However, in a later interview, Taapsee had opened up on her equation with Kangana and she said that the actress needs a double filter. 

On the workfront, Taapsee is currently shooting for the sequel of Hasseen Dillruba titled ' Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba'. 

The movie will see Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal in lead roles. 

For the unversed, 'Hasseen Dillruba' was a huge hit on Netflix, and as a result, the second part will soon be releasing on the streaming platform and fans cannot wait.
