Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, who recently made headlines after featuring in Guru Randhawa’s new song ‘Tera Ki Khayal’, has often proved that age is just a number. The actress has successfully delivered some of the biggest dance numbers and has had fruitful Bollywood career spanning over two decades. She also remains in the limelight for her strong fitness game and is known to make headlines for her stylish and bold fashion sense. After ending her marriage with actor Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora is currently dating actor Arjun Kapoor. The duo has been in a relationship for four years now and naturally fans are curious about their marriage plans. Malaika Arora has finally opened up about her wedding plans with Arjun Kapoor, revealing that they are both “ready for it”.
In an interview with Brides Today, Malaika Arora said that she has never had “issues’” with Arjun being 12 years younger than her. She also admitted that both of them are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Malaika praised her beau and said, “I think he is insanely wise for his age, and that he has a very deep and strong soul. He is someone who’s very liberated and extremely caring. I don’t think they make men like that anymore. I could go on and on, but I admire these qualities the most.”
Addressing their age-gap, she added, “Our world is so obsessed with tags… There is an age difference, but it has never been an issue between us.”
For Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor is “her person” and she feels lucky to have found “true love”. Malaika said, “I might have had wrong notions about love all my life, but when I met him, I connected with him and just fell in love. I now know what love is about…to love someone so purely is truly fascinating.”
Though her first marriage didn’t work out, Malaika Arora added that still believes in the institution of marriage.
Malaika Arora said, “People think that I might be cynical about getting married again, but that’s far from true. I believe in the institution, I believe in love and companionship…all of it. I can’t answer when I will get married again, because I believe in leaving some aspects of one’s life as a surprise and not planning too much. Planning things constantly sucks the joy out of life.”
The Bollywood actress doesn’t know exactly when will she tie the knot with Arjun, but both of them are “ready” for marriage.
She said, “I would love to set up a home with Arjun and take our relationship to the next level, because I think we both are ready for it.”
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been vocal about their love for each other. From making public appearances together to uploading social media posts, they have been doing it all despite being trolled for their age-gap.
A few days ago, the couple attended the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) event together. Malaika looked stunning in a sheer ensemble, while Arjun wore a black pant-suit set.
Meanwhile on the work front, last year, Malaika made her OTT debut with her own reality series, ‘Moving in With Malaika’, which showed her talking about various aspects of her life.
