Kapil Sharma's latest movie 'Zwigato' released in the theatres on Friday, and the film has been garnering rave reviews. The Nandita Das-directorial sees the comedian playing the role of a delivery agent and how he is working really hard to make his ends meet. The comedian has really gone out of his comfort zone to play such a difficult role, and it looks like his hard work has paid off.

'Shahid' and 'Scam 1992' director Hansal Mehta caught the movie at a theatre and he has been bowled over. The acclaimed director took to Twitter to praise the movie and performances by the lead stars.

"#Zwigato is a work of deep humanity and truly a film of our times. You should be very proud @nanditadas @nairsameer @ApplauseSocial of this gem. And how good are @KapilSharmaK9 and @shahanagoswami along with the most adorable and real ensemble I’ve seen in recent times," Hansal Mehta tweeted.

In another tweet, he also said that watching this particular movie was a refreshing experience as the movie is "devoid of melodrama and screechy preachy dialogue."

"Refreshing to see a film that is devoid of melodrama and screechy preachy dialogue but that is so effective in its empathetic gaze. People who love their cinema served real, warm and tender will lose out on more such films if they miss this one! Go watch the uplifting #Zwigato," Hansal Mehta wrote in another tweet.

In the new Bollywood movie, Kapil Sharma is playing a food delivery rider, who is working really hard to make ends meet.

Apart from Kapil Sharma, 'Zwigato' also stars Shahana Goswami, Gul Panag, Sayani Gupta and Swanand Kirkire. For the unversed, 'Zwigato' had premiered at the Toronto and Busan International Film Festivals and the movie garnered positive reactions.

Previously, Kapil Sharma has starred in movies like 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' and 'Firangi'.
