‘War 2’ Teaser: Get Ready For The Biggest Battle As Jr NTR Sets His Eyes On “India's Best Soldier” Hrithik Roshan
On the occasion of Jr NTR's birthday on Tuesday, Yash Raj Films finally dropped the first teaser of ‘War 2’.
One of the most anticipated Indian films of 2025, ‘War 2’ – starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani – is all set to arrive in cinemas on August 14. The film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji. Adding to the excitement, Yash Raj Films dropped the explosive first teaser on Jr NTR’s birthday today, giving fans a thrilling glimpse of what’s to come. The teaser delivers exactly what audiences were hoping for: an intense showdown brewing between Hrithik’s Kabir and Jr NTR’s character, setting the stage for a high-octane cinematic clash.
The teaser opens with Jr NTR's voiceover as he expresses his desire to meet "India's best soldier" Hrithik Roshan's Kabir. However, he adds that he has been closely monitoring Kabir and how the latter is unaware of his existence. It must be mentioned that Jr NTR is playing the antagonist in the next chapter of the YRF Spy Universe.
The teaser then cuts to some high-octane action sequences featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR. Kiara Advani also makes a brief appearance. A bikini-clad Kiara in the teaser will be sharing a romantic sub-plot with Hrithik Roshan in the film.
The clip ends with Jr NTR declaring, “Get ready for WAR.”

Kiara Advani also shared the teaser on Instagram Stories and revealed how the project is a series of firsts for her. She wrote, “Lots of firsts in this. First YRF Film. First action film. First with these 2 amazing heroes. First collaboration with Ayan and ofcourse first bikini shot.”

‘War 2’ is the next installment of the YRF Spy Universe after Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Tiger 3’. After ‘War 2’, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Alpha’ will also release, marking another new chapter of the Spy Universe.
‘War 2’ is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. ‘War 2’ is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Tiger 3’.
‘War’, which released in October 2019, starred Hrithik Roshan alongside Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. In ‘War’, Hrithik Roshan essayed the role of rogue RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Tiger Shroff was his protégé Khalid Rahmani.
The film was directed by Siddharth Anand and turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of 2019 with a collection of over Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office.
