Watch: 'War 2' Shooting Begins In Spain, Director Ayan Mukerji Clicked Filming Car Chase Scene
The shooting of 'War 2', starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, is underway in Spain.
The YRF Spy Universe is one of the most talked-about movie franchises in India. With Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi-starrer 'Tiger 3' slated to release in cinemas on November 12, it is fair to say that the universe will only get bigger and better! Now, it has emerged that the shooting of 'War 2', starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, is already underway. Adding to the excitement of fans, many videos and pictures from the movie sets have emerged online.
For the unversed, the shooting of 'War 2' is taking place in Spain. In the videos going viral, director Ayan Mukerji can be seen walking through the streets of Spain and going by the clips, it looks like that a chase sequence is being shot in the country.
However, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR have not been photographed yet.

For the unversed, the YRF Spy Universe had kicked off in 2012 with Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The movie was then followed by 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War' and 'Pathaan'.
YRF intends to interconnect every spy film in the post-Pathaan world. ‘Tiger 3’ follows the events of 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', and 'Pathaan', and will be carrying forward the promise of an edge-of-the-seat action spectacle that people have not seen before on the big screen.
Earlier, Variety had reported that Jr NTR would be sharing the screen with Hrithik Roshan in 'War 2'.
“NTR Jr is locking horns with Hrithik Roshan in ‘War 2.’ It’s going to be epic. Their battle of wits and their fierce showdown will definitely be an action spectacle to remember on the big screen. This move by Aditya Chopra enables ‘War 2’ to have the widest audience appeal for a Hindi film and it also widens the box office potential of the film. South India should come alive and connect at a more emotional level with the film because of the presence of their beloved superstar," Variety quoted a trade source as saying.
“NTR Jr is one of the most respected and followed icons from South India. He is said to be extremely choosy about his films and if he has given the film a nod, it means ‘War 2’ is eclipsing the first film in terms of plot as well as scale. Hrithik Roshan vs NTR Jr. will be a fight to remember,” the source added.
Not much is known about ‘War 2’ yet but the film promises to be an action-packed, thrilling ride that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats just like its first part.
‘War’, which released in October 2019, also starred Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. In ‘War’, Hrithik Roshan essayed the role of rogue RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Tiger Shroff was his protégé Khalid Rahmani.
Coming back to ‘War’, the film was directed by Siddharth Anand and turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of 2019 with collection of over Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office.
