‘The Sabarmati Report’ stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra. The new Hindi movie has been directed by Ranjan Chandel and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan.

Earlier this year, the teaser of 'The Sabarmati Report' was released digitially and it indeed left the audience in absolute astonishment. Impactful, hard-hitting, and gritty, the teaser left the audience craving for more.

As per the makers, the movie will give a glimpse of the "unknown facts that had been hidden for 22 years", after the incident that took place in Sabarmati Express.

In the film, Vikrant Massey is playing the role of Hindi journalist Samar Kumar. He along with Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra breaks the news of the Godhra incident. The teaser shows us how the three are convinced that it wasn’t an accident but an attack on the pilgrims. The teaser then shows us how these three struggle to find evidence to back up their claims.

The teaser also comments on the politics within media houses as Vikrant's character says, “Pura desh sach janne ke liye media ki taraf dekhta hai aur humare media sach ko dikhane se pehle apne upar baithay hue malik ko dekhte hai."

For the unversed, the movie is based on the real-life incident. In 2002, 59 Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya died in a fire inside the Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat.

On the work front, Vikrant Massey was last seen in '12th Fail' while Raashii Khanna was last seen in Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani-starrer 'Yodha'.
