For the unversed, 'Bad Newz' has been jointly bankrolled by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari.
'Bad Newz' is slated to be released in cinemas on July 19, 2024. The film is the latest offering by the makers of 'Good Newz', which was released in 2019.
'Good Newz' featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh. The storyline revolved around two couples, who visit the same hospital for IVF treatment and as both the couples share the last name, they end up being trapped in a comedy of errors.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in 'Sam Bahadur', while Triptii won a lot of fans through her performance in 'Animal'.
For the unversed, 'Animal' and 'Sam Bahadur' were released on the same date. Both the films turned out to be success stories at the box office. However, it was Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' that collected more than Rs 500 crore in India despite being criticised for portraying toxic masculinity and misogyny.
Ammy Virk, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Kudi Haryane Val Di’, co-starring Sonam Bajwa.
