Amid all this, an old tweet of Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has resurfaced on social media and is going insanely viral.

The post from 2009 sees Mallika Sherawat talking about her meeting with Kamala Harris. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she had written, "Having fun at a fancy event with a woman who they say could be US President, Kamala Harris. Chicks rule!”

For the unversed, Jofra Archer is an England cricketer, who is known to have posted messages in the past, which somehow end up happening in today's time.

On Sunday night, Joe Biden announced that he will not be running for a re-election later this year. Joe Biden confirmed the development on social media. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Joe Biden shared a statement saying, "It has been the greatest honour of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term."

"I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision. For now, let me express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to see me reelected. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work. And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me," he added.
