Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri has witnessed an immense surge in popularity ever since starring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Bad Newz' star was severely trolled on social media for her dancing skills in the 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video' song 'Mere Mehboob'. Triptii Dimri has finally reacted to the backlash, saying that she did not see it coming, and stressed that making mistakes is a part of the game.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Triptii said, "Not really. As an actor, I’m trying to do different things. First, I thought that you only need to know acting to be an actor, and you’re sorted. When things got real, I realised that when you’re offered shows, you should know how to walk properly, when you get offered a dance number, you should know how to dance well…”

“I said, ‘I have to try everything’. But one can’t be good at everything. But what’s wrong in trying? You have to give it your best; you’re here now. I didn’t realise (while shooting). It was my first dance number, I haven’t really done one like this before. And I didn’t think that it would get the kind of response that it’s getting. But it’s fine; it happens to everybody. There are things that people like, there are things that people don’t like. But that doesn’t mean that you stop experimenting," she added.

During the interview, she also admitted that she was in awe of her 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' co-star Rajkummar Rao and his ability to perform demanding scenes with ease.

Asked about the time when she was told that she cannot act because her “eyes can't emote”, Triptii said, "Your body is always giving you signs, I feel. Everybody told me not to do Bulbbul, but I wanted to do it even if I didn’t get paid. From that day on, I decided to follow my gut."

'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' is slated to release in cinemas on October 11, 2024. The film will clash with Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina's 'Jigra'.

Triptii Dimri was last seen in 'Bad Newz', alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.
