Varun Dhawan, Ajay Devgn Lead Wishes As India Defeat England To Enter T20 World Cup Final
T20 World Cup: India defeated England in the semi-final to progress to the final. Varun Dhawan and Ajay Devgn have now congratulated the Men in Blue.
Rohit Sharma-led Team India suffered a massive heartbreak in 2023 as the side fell short in the 2023 World Cup final against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A few months later, the Men in Blue have the chance to redeem themselves as they will be playing the T20 World Cup final on Saturday in Barbados. India defeated England in the second semi-final of the ongoing tournament by 68 runs at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Thursday. Rohit Sharma led from the front as he played a knock of 57 runs off just 39 balls to help India post an above-par score of 171/7 in 20 overs. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav then spun a web and England had no answers. In the end, Jos Buttler's side was bundled out for just 103 inside 17 overs.

Varun Dhawan re-shared the victory post by the official Instagram account of the Indian cricket team.
Ajay Devgn took to X (formerly Twitter), and wrote, "It’s time to show that our Comeback > Setback. Only a step away from creating history! Well played boys! Coming back to the match between India and England, Axar Patel was adjudged as Man of the Match as he returned with three wickets. He also played a cameo of 10 runs off just six balls.
India will now face South Africa in the finals of the T20 World Cup in Barbados. Both the teams are so far unbeaten in this edition of the World Cup.
