Sunita Ahuja Makes Shocking Claim On Govinda Cheating In Marriage

Sunita Ahuja, wife of veteran Bollywood star Govinda, has once again grabbed attention for her candid remarks about her marriage. Known for her outspoken nature, the YouTuber and reality show contestant opened up about dealing with infidelity and explained why she has never considered walking away from her relationship. In the latest episode of 'Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza', Sunita was seen having a heartfelt conversation with fellow contestant Shreya Kalra. During the chat, Shreya brought up one of Sunita's previous interviews, in which she had spoken about feeling cheated and addressed rumours of infidelity in her marriage.
Responding to the question, Sunita made it clear that finding love elsewhere has never crossed her mind. She said that her life revolves around her children and that they remain her biggest priority. Reflecting on the ups and downs of her marriage, she added that she has already seen enough in life and believes some situations are beyond her control, even if they are painful.
“Hua toh abhi kya kar sakte hain… shuru se hi hua hain na lekin? Hero hain toh you can't say anything. Iss umar mein abhi sochunga toh diabetes aur badhega. Jaise chal raha hain chalne do,” she said.
When Shreya asked, ‘Don’t you feel sad?' She responded, “It is fine, I live for my kids." When further probed whether she thinks Govinda is still at it, Sunita added, “Tum rok sakte ho kisi ko? Main 24 ghanta unke saamne baithi rahu? Samne wala bhi toh irritate ho jayga na? Main sochti hi nahi hoon.”
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in 1987 and have been together for nearly four decades. The couple share two children – daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardan Ahuja.
Over the years, Govinda's personal life has frequently been the subject of speculation. At the peak of his career, he was often linked to several actresses. More recently, reports also claimed that the actor was involved with a younger Marathi actress, although none of these rumours were ever confirmed. Sunita herself has, on different occasions, made candid remarks suggesting that infidelity had caused hurt in their marriage.
The couple also made headlines in 2024 after Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver and was briefly hospitalised. A few months later, reports surfaced claiming that Govinda and Sunita were heading for a divorce. However, the rumours were quickly put to rest when the couple appeared together during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, dismissing speculation about trouble in their marriage.
