Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who got married in an intimate civil ceremony on June 23 in Mumbai, have been painting the town red ever since their wedding. They recently celebrated their one-month anniversary in Philippines. Sonakshi Sinha blessed our feeds with some lovely pictures of herself and her husband Zaheer Iqbal from their recent honeymoon as they relaxed at a wellness retreat in Philippines, unwinding from the exhaustion of their wedding festivities and work commitments.
An avid Instagram user with over 28 million followers, Sonakshi Sinha shared glimpses of their peaceful getaway, giving fans a sneak peek of the newlyweds’ quality time together. She began her lengthy caption by writing, “We celebrated one month of our wedding by doing what we needed to do the most - RECOVER!!!”

Sonakshi Sinha added, “In one week we were taught what wellness actually means, listen to our bodies and take care of our minds. Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and massages galore - feeling brand new.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal also thanked their friends for the “life-changing experience” apart from the people who made their stay comfortable.

For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s civil ceremony was followed by a wedding reception at Bastian, which saw numerous Bollywood celebrities in attendance. The wedding reception was attended by Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, and Rekha, among others.
The celebrity couple recently shared glimpses of their wedding on Instagram. Sonakshi expressing her joy in a heartfelt post, wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. The celebrity couple wore ivory outfits for the wedding, with Sonakshi Sinha later switching into a gold and red-hued saree, and Zaheer opting for a white kurta with red underlay.
