Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently enjoyed a romantic getaway in Rome, and their pictures are making us green with envy.
We are just a few weeks away from welcoming 2025, and everyone is getting ready for the new year in their own way. While some are embracing the holiday spirit by decorating their houses with Christmas trees and fairy lights, hosting parties, and attending them, others are going on vacations. Several others are spending the holiday season curled up in their blankets with a hot cup of tea or coffee, catching up on their favourite shows and movies. Celebrity couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are also embracing the holiday spirit by enjoying a romantic vacation together.
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who got married earlier to actor Zaheer Iqbal this year, shared pictures from their romantic Rome getaway. Captioning the post, Sonakshi wrote, “Rome in a jiffy at the @anantarapalazzonaiadi! Cozy dinners with a view, a fun buggy ride thru the city, and some mandatory sightseeing! A 2 days well spent!!”

The first photo showed Sonakshi and Zaheer sharing a cosy moment with a stunning night-time backdrop. The next one featured the couple posing outside a luxurious hotel called Anantara Palazzo Naiadi in Rome.
Another photo showcased Sonakshi and Zaheer posing inside the lavish hotel room as they clicked a mirror-selfie. In the fourth image, the duo appeared to be enjoying a relaxed dinner, with Sonakshi leaning on the table and Zaheer capturing the selfie.
In another image, the couple is seen in front of a majestic church-like structure. The next picture featured Sonakshi standing inside a grand cathedral with her arms stretched, highlighting the stunning architecture and interiors.
Inside the same cathedral, Sonakshi and Zaheer also posed for a cute selfie. An image also captured Zaheer sitting on a wooden bench inside the cathedral.
The couple also posed with a friendly local vendor. In two images, the Bollywood couple also shared romantic moments on the picturesque streets of Rome.
For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married in an intimate civil ceremony on June 23 in Mumbai. Their wedding ceremony was followed by a wedding reception at Bastian, which saw numerous Bollywood celebrities in attendance. The wedding reception was attended by Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, and Rekha, among others.
Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha began dating Zaheer Iqbal in 2017, when they crossed paths at a party hosted by Salman Khan.
Interestingly, both actors made their Bollywood debut with Salman Khan. While Sonakshi debuted with ‘Dabangg’, Zaheer acted in a film produced by the superstar titled ‘Notebook’. In 2022, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal shared the screen in ‘Double XL’.
