Bollywood stars Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony on February 7, 2023, after dating each other for several years. The celebrity couple’s wedding took place at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Several photos and videos from their dreamy wedding ceremony went viral. The celebrity couple often makes headlines for being each other’s biggest supporters and loudest cheerleaders. Sidharth Malhotra will be seen opening up about his married life with Kiara Advani during his appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 8’.
Sidharth Malhotra will be accompanied by his ‘Student Of The Year’ co-star Varun Dhawan on the show, which marks Sidharth’s first appearance on ‘KWK 8’ after tying the knot with Kiara Advani.
On the show, Sidharth Malhotra spoke about how his life changed after getting married to Kiara Advani. He also spoke about “having a family” in Mumbai, which only happened after he got hitched to Kiara Advani. For the unversed, Sidharth Malhotra hails from Delhi.
On the show, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I came to Bombay about 16 years ago, and I lived by myself for the initial years with friends. I shared rooms and apartments, and now I have this one person I have dated, and obviously, there is so much love. I feel more responsible now; I feel like I have another person I have to take care of. She motivates me to work harder.”
Sidharth Malhotra said that he and Kiara Advani are both “very family-oriented” and that binds them together. “Both of us have that upbringing,” the Bollywood actor said.
He added, “Even though she grew up in Mumbai, she is very disconnected. She is not so skewed by whatever is happening in the industry or behind the camera, I like that. I find that very refreshing. She could be in any profession… She handles her stardom in a way, possibly in a similar way that I like it. Even today, we like spending time together and meeting families. I never had a family in Bombay, but now I do thanks to her.”
Sidharth Malhotra was an assistant on Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, before he made his debut as a lead actor in ‘Student of the Year’. The Karan Johar directorial also marked the debut of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
Sidharth was last seen in the 2023 film ‘Mission Majnu’, which released on Netflix. He will next be seen in Dharma Productions’ ‘Yodha’, which will release in March 2024.
