Get ready to melt, because Bollywood’s most beloved couple has just dropped the sweetest news! Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are officially expecting their second child. The couple, who are already doting parents to their daughter Saraayah, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share their joy with the world. In a heartwarming joint post that perfectly echoed their first pregnancy announcement, the couple shared a picture of their hands – along with little Saraayah’s – holding up a tiny, fresh pair of knit baby booties.
Kiara captioned the post with the touching words, “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.”

The internet, understandably, went into a complete meltdown. Friends, fans, and colleagues from the film industry flooded the comments section with love. Kareena Kapoor Khan was quick to react, writing, “Mommy and Daddy again yayyy.” Filmmaker Karan Johar, who practically played matchmaker for the couple, dropped a series of heart emojis and commented, “Love love you.” Stars like Athiya Shetty, Rhea Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, and Bhumi Pednekar also chimed in with their congratulations and best wishes for the growing family.

This happy news comes less than a year after Kiara and Sidharth welcomed Saraayah in July 2025. Kiara has been incredibly open about how motherhood has transformed her. On Raj Shamani’s podcast, she candidly shared that she feels like a “completely different person” post-motherhood, and in another interview, she mentioned that becoming a mother has made her “more of a tigress”.
Her dedication to her craft during her first pregnancy was nothing short of inspiring. Co-star Huma Qureshi recently shared a behind-the-scenes anecdote from the set of their upcoming film ‘Toxic’. Huma revealed, “There was a scene in Toxic we were both part of, and there was so much rain involved. She was just about to have a baby and we were getting drenched in the rain and I had a terrible headache. Every single time I wanted to complain, I would look at Kiara. She was six months pregnant, and she was just standing there doing that scene. Standing like a rock. Looking at her I was like, 'Oh my god,' that is so inspiring.”
Sidharth, too, has been soaking up every moment of fatherhood. During a recent appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 20’, he called it “the best role possible.” In a fun exchange, host Salman Khan jokingly told him, “Hopefully you will have another one soon,” to which Sidharth cheekily turned the tables, asking Salman about his own thoughts on marriage and kids!
Kiara and Sidharth’s love story is straight out of a Bollywood script. They met on the sets of the critically acclaimed 2021 war drama ‘Shershaah’, where their on-screen chemistry as Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema translated into a real-life romance. After keeping their relationship largely under wraps (despite Karan Johar’s best efforts to spill the beans on ‘Koffee With Karan’), they tied the knot in a stunning, traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on February 7, 2023. Their wedding photos famously broke the internet, becoming the most-liked Instagram post in India at the time.
