Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan To Star In Sujoy Ghosh’s Upcoming Action-Thriller: Report
Shah Rukh Khan and daughter Suhana Khan will for the first time do a movie together, reportedly, in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming action-thriller.
Shah Rukh Khan has a packed 2023. After starring in 'Pathaan', the actor will next be seen in 'Jawan' and 'Dunki'. However, fans of the superstar have been wanting to know about what is next for SRK after Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'? Now, we have an exciting update for you. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan for a feature film produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures. The untitled action-thriller is slated to go on the floors later this year, as per the report. And the new Hindi movie will reportedly be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who has earlier helmed projects like 'Kahaani', 'Kahaani 2' and 'Badlaa'.
“Shah Rukh Khan and Sujoy Ghosh have worked together in the capacity of producer and director in Badlaa starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The duo will now be reuniting in multiple capacities for this yet film. It’s an action thriller, and other details have been kept under wraps for now. Even Sujoy is excited to explore a new genre as a director,” revealed a source close to the development," Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
“Siddharth Anand is known for action films and SRK is collaborating with the filmmaker to collaborate on creating big action blocks for the film. The idea is to come up with an uncompromised cinematic experience with the best resources,” the source added.
The untitled action-thriller will be Suhana Khan's big screen debut. Shah Rukh Khan's character in this new Hindi movie in terms of screentime is expected to be on the lines of 'Dear Zindagi', which also starred Alia Bhatt.
“The pre-production work is going in full swing and the stakeholders at Red Chillies are charged up to introduce the next generation of the family to their audiences,” the source said.
Suhana Khan will be making her movie debut with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies', and the film is slated to release on Netflix later this year.
Talking about SRK, the actor also has 'Tiger Vs Pathaan' in the pipeline. The movie which also stars Salman Khan will be directed by 'Pathaan' filmmaker Siddharth Anand.
