It’s always a surprising and a sweet moment to see celebrities doing ordinary things in public. One such ordinary thing that many stars have been spotted doing is taking public transport in Mumbai. And one of these celebs, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, has often proven how grounded she is by carrying her own luggage or taking metro and auto rides. The 'Atrangi Re' actress, who is an avid social media user, recently took an auto ride to head back home. 

The Bollywood actress, on Wednesday night, had joined Vicky Kaushal and the team of their upcoming film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ for a song launch. Dressed in a fuchsia pink sharara set, Sara Ali Khan was all smiles at the event. 

However, post the event, Sara’s car did not turn up, and she had to take an auto to go back home. Taking to Instagram, Viral Bhayani posted two videos of Sara Ali Khan heading back home in an auto.

Sara Ali Khan, who has previously taken auto rides and even taken the metro and local trains to reach places on time, stepped into the auto with one of her team members and headed home. 

When a pap asked her the reason behind taking the auto, the Bollywood actress simply replied, “Arre, gaadi nahi aayi."

When the paparazzi asked her, "Kaisa laga Mumbai ki rickshaw ka safar?" Before heading home, she replied, "Main Mumbai ke rickshaw ka safar kar chuki hu bahut baar. Aaj meri gaadi nahi aayi time pe." 

After reaching home, she sweetly thanked the auto driver and even posed for a selfie with him. The video has gone viral on social media and fans are mighty impressed with Sara Ali Khan’s grounded nature. 

One fan wrote, “Thik hi publicity ho ya kuch... She is sweet n behaved so well... I personally like her simplicity.”

Another one added, “OMG she is really down to earth very nice love you Sara.”

A third one commented, “Ek number.”

A user wrote, "She is so genuine.”

Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal are on a promotional spree for their upcoming film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’. 

Talking about the film, it is set in Indore, with Vicky Kaushal playing the role of Kapil and Sara Ali Khan essaying the character of Soumya. 
The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Studios and directed by Laxman Utekar, is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023.

Apart from ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in ‘Murder Mubarak’, directed by Homi Adjania. The actress also has ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ in the pipeline.
