Salman Drops Endearing Picture With Father Salim Khan From ‘Angry Young Men’ Trailer Launch, Calls Him “DadLee Man”
Salman Khan attended the trailer launch of the upcoming docu-series ‘Angry Young Men’, revolving around legendary screenwriters Salim-Javed.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was last seen in the 2023 Hindi movie ‘Tiger 3’, recently attended the trailer launch of the upcoming docu-series ‘Angry Young Men’. The docu-series, which is set to release on Amazon Prime Video India, revolves around the life of legendary screenwriters Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. The legendary writer duo was joined by their kids Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar on stage. Later, Salman Khan shared pictures from the event on X (formerly Twitter).
Sharing am endearing picture with his father Salim Khan, Salman Khan wrote, “DadLee Man - My Father God.”

In the picture, Salim Khan can be seen seated on a chair and Salman Khan is standing behind him. While the veteran screenwriter opted for a pale white shirt, light blue jeans and a sleeveless puffer jacket, Salman Khan looked handsome in a black T-shirt and faded jeans.

‘Angry Young Men’ will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from August 20, 2024.

In the 1970s, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar revolutionised Indian cinema by reinventing the Bollywood formula, introducing ‘angry young man’ heroes in a romance-dominated industry, and making action-dramas a beloved genre.
The legendary writer duo gave us some of the most iconic films such as 'Deewar', 'Don', 'Sholay', 'Trishul', and 'Dostana'.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ ‘Sikandar’, which is being backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will also star Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj.
‘Sikandar’ is slated to be released in cinemas on Eid 2025.
