Bollywood’s power couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, chose the snowy streets of New York City to ring in their Christmas and New Year celebrations this year. Ditching the flashbulbs of Mumbai for a cosy family getaway, the duo was recently spotted by lucky fans while soaking in the festive spirit of the Big Apple. The couple’s holiday journey began at the Mumbai airport, where they were seen twinning in stylish black outfits before jetting off. Once in NYC, they traded the airport look for heavy winter layers.
Viral pictures shared on Instagram showed the couple graciously posing for selfies. While Ranveer was seen smiling with fans, Deepika looked radiant in a chic, all-white ensemble. One fan, who posted the encounter, described Ranveer as a “gem of a person” and a “keepsake memory,” sparking a wave of "lucky you" comments across social media.

The couple’s romance famously sparked on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ back in 2012. After years of keeping their relationship private, they tied the knot in 2018 at a stunning ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, honouring both Konkani and Sindhi traditions. Their family grew in 2024 with the arrival of their daughter, Dua.
Ranveer has more than just the holidays to celebrate. His latest release, ‘Dhurandhar’, has officially been crowned the #1 film of 2025. The film entered the prestigious Rs 1000 crore club worldwide within just 21 days of its December 5 release.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller features Ranveer as Hamza Ali Mazari (alias Jaskirat Singh Rangi), an Indian spy infiltrating a Baloch gang in Pakistan. The film boasts a powerhouse ensemble including Akshaye Khanna (as gang leader Rehman Dakait), Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
Fans won't have to wait long for more action, as the sequel, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, is already scheduled for March 19, 2026.
Deepika Padukone is also gearing up for a massive year ahead with high-octane projects. She will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’, which also features Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Arshad Warsi.
Deepika is also set to showcase an action-packed avatar in Atlee’s next directorial venture ‘AA22xA6’, starring Allu Arjun.
